RSI

Are their any ground services using RSI with a Paramedic and a Basic EMT? Our region requires a 2 person team, one a CCRN and the other a Medic. Also is any one using Versed as a single Medic? Thankyou in advance.

In MD, RSI is just now coming into use by state police helicopter paramedics. It isn't used by any ground units in the state to the best of my knowledge, however, the state Medical Director has said that after the trial by Helicopter Paramedics, we may see it in the field.
