Volunteer for Concert EMS in NY

We are seeking volunteers to provide EMS for the Fingerlakes Grassroots Festival of Music and Dance.

This event will be held July 22-25, 1999 in Trumansburg NY.

We are seeking NYS certified EMS providers to provide ALS level care.

In return for your 6 hour shift, you will receive a pass for the remainder the event, a t-shirt, meals while on shift, free camping and generally a good time, although very busy in the early AM hours.

When I posted this topic on the AOL board last year, we had about 25 persons respond. Nothing from here, wondering why??

If you might be interested in volunteering in this event please let me know. This event is the same same weekend as Woodstock, but we are about 1.5 hrs away from there.... and we will be a lot less hectic!

you may be having a problem due to the fact it is the same dates as the woodstock concert in Rome, NY. You know the one with about 1,000 volunteer MDs,paramedics,ect....

Not having a problem getting volunteers. All I was doing was opening up the ranks a bit... I have no concern with Woodstock and it's operation. By the way, Rome is less than 2 hours away from this event..... doesnt phase me.
