I would be intersted in hearing from any EMS Services using Pancuronium to maintain paralysis following sedation/intubation.

I am currently preparing a presentation to the EMS Service I work for in Australia, and can find little evidence to support or reject it introduction into our ems system.

Ant help would be greatly appreciated.

I don't know of any service in our area using Pancuronium however, Vecuronium or Rocuronium are common for the flight and interfacility transport crews. Pancuronium does have a contraindication to Hepatic and renal failure with side effects including PVC's and tachycardia while Vec has containdications to newborns and Myasthenia gravis, which is very rare, and little side effects. I havent used Pancuronium but have used Vec so I probably am a little bias. I would be curious of what you find out. Good luck!
