Hello,
I am currently working on a cost vs benefit project for my program (non-transport, BLS). I am trying to do a breakdown of what it costs to deliver patient care per patient. I am taking the average salary of a responder, and what I spend yearly on training, supplies and equipment. I then divide that by the number of patients served.
I have several questions regarding this approach.
Has anyone ever done this recently?
Am I missing anything?
If you have done this, can/would you share what your cost break down is?
Thanks in advance. By the way I haven't done mine yet, I am still collecting data, I have to go back 5 years.
