requirments for ambulances

I was just curious if any one knows of where to obtain a list of required items to be kept on an ambulance....it probably varies by each states dot but I am not sure.

Don't know about DE either, but VA has a list on the OEMS Web site (Matter of fact it's the very check list the state inspector will use to certify (re-certify) your rig with).

You should be looking for the Class B & C Vehicle Inspection Checklist listed under Agency Documents (Class B is BLS Transport & C is an ALS Transport).<br />This file is an Adobe Acrobat PDF file and requires Acrobat Reader to view/print.

just went through this. Contact your resource hospital. They should have a list of equipment to carry. The will also have a person from your state that you can talk to.
