Well I passed my EMT certification a couple of weeks ago, and now I would like to apply to a service like AMR.

I see they ask for you to send a resume...but what shoudl I put on it?

I'm not new to creating resumes, I have done several and I think they have been good...but they have been for a completely unrelated field.

I have ZERO EMS experience...so I wouldn't know what to put besides my name, contact info and education...

Any help is much appreciated.

My advise would be to drop your standard resume off in person and speak to the director of operations etc. Show them you have an interest in learning and are able to be taught. In my opinion by doing this they will attach a face to the resume and if all goes well they will remember your ambition and desire to learn.Good Luck

We all had to get our start some place. Just remember that you could always work as a volunteer for a while to get that expirence that you need.

Just be honest, don't lie, and go in there with the attitude that you want to learn. Depending on how short they are, you may get a probie position. Good Luck.
