NREMT-P Exam Results

I took my NREMT-P exam 2 weeks ago, and am awaiting my results. I know that the Registry says it takes 4-6 weeks for results, however a few people have told me that they notify you within 2 weeks if you fail. Does anyone know if this is true? Thank you.

FUGGEDABOUTDIT. The National Reigistry sends out the results based on the test site. Everyone will get their results, good or bad within days of one and other.

We hold testing sites twice a year and when the results come in, we usually have all of them within 72 of the first one getting theirs in the mail.

There is really no set time. They like to allow 4-6 weeks to give them a good working time period that has a good variable. I have seen results as soon as 2 weeks, and some right at the 6 week mark.

It depends on how busy they are and if it is during the period of everyone trying to re-register and having to grade initial exams too it will take longer.

If you don't hear something by the 6 week mark, I would start making some phone calls.

When I took my NREMT B 6 yrs. ago it took 8 weeks. My P took 3 weeks to come and I got an 88 and passed. Guess it all depends on how busy they are. :rolleyes:

Dont know what state you're in, but here in Ohio national registry doesn't seem to be the problem, its the state. Perhaps I've just been lucky, but I've always gotten a quick result from NR (2-3weeks) the problem comes in with the length of time for the state to process this and send me my state card (it took 3 months for my basic card :( )

Last June it took me 2 1/2 weeks to get my national results.

It took Massachusetts over 5 weeks to get me my results and I'm 50 miles from Boston. Go figure.

I took my practicals on December 15th, my written on Feburary 16th, and got the results on March 18th. It really varies.
