The fatal crash occurred on the 8500 block of Southwest 24th Street at 12:31 p.m. Sunday, police said, when the Nissan Pathfinder Jessica O’Campo, 25, was driving veered off the road and drove into a parked truck and ended up on its side
O’Campo, a mother of two who was eight months pregnant, was dead at the scene but was rushed to Jackson Memorial Hospital where doctors delivered her baby. The infant remained in critical but stable condition on Monday.
