As of 1130 hrs this morning, the dates for when my EMT-I class is going to take the National Registry Written and Practical were announced. On August 11th, 2003 I will be taking the written test and on August 23rd, 2003 I will be taking the practical. Its coming down to the wire now. I can't believe a month from this Friday I'll be sitting for the National Registry. Take care everyone and stay safe.

You definitely have the support of family & friends who either know exactly what kinds of sacrifices you make, or have true appreciation for all that EMS is to you. Hours are long, and we often wonder how all of the time commitments will be honored while also performing our "normal" duties. The road has been rough, but the rewards will be worth every ounce of sweat. You will have earned more than some do in a lifetime, and you will always appreciate higher education because of any struggles you had. You have heard this before, but when you accomplish more than you thought you ever could, you come to realize what you're capable of, and other achievements are not as difficult because you have raised the bar for yourself. Great job thus far, darlin. You'll be fine!
