How many days a week and how many hours a day was that?????? That is a lot of info to take in in just a few weeks. Have been an EMT-B for quite a few years, but don't visit this side of the forum for some reason. Maybe I will hang around a little!!!

...all of our training is in-house. the class was 3 weeks long. we did tuesday-saturday, 7:30-5:00. i think we had a module exam literally EVERY day, we used the Brady EMERGENCY CARE 10th ed. for our curriculum.

Do you have any suggestions for those who are doing the accelerated class? I have one that I will be going to it is 2 weeks long 12 hour days. We will be using the same book. I have a little while before I go to the class so any help ahead of time would be greatly appreciated!!

What I did was I read the chapters in the book what was taught that day, then I read one day's worth of chapters ahead. I spent almost 4 or 5 hours a day studying after class but it was worth it because it was so much information to take in at one time. Study hard.

I'm new to the EMS side also. I'm just finished up my EMT-B class and recently registered for EMT-P. Glad to be here! I'll have to come back more often.
