Cheat Sheet

I'm making a reference sheet to stick on our clipboards for the 3am calls when your brain isn't firing on all cylinders and I was hoping to get some other ideas. I'm currently have the following:

Glasgow Coma Scale
Apgar Score
Rule of 9s image (http://www.biotel.ws/protocolsHTML/Protocols2004/percentburnedadult.jpg)
Cincinnati Stroke Scale

Please keep in mind we're a BLS agency so we don't need to know how to calculate drip rates and such. I was also thinking of including a small table of abbreviations such as Penicillin is abbreviated PCN not PENIS (yes, I know some one that did that, no it wasn't me). I'll upload the file here when I'm done in case anyone else wants a copy.

I had one that had all those things on one side & the other was a 2 column list of SAMPLE & OPQRST with a quick set of notes on what each was and space to write down your notes from asking the Pt. these questions.

Would offer to send it to you but my Laptop Hard Drive crashed yesterday and I have lost over 3 years worth of accumulated stuff like that.

Just grab one of those field guides and stick it in the ambulance. It's got everything you need some even have spell check and abbreviations. You can get them at any book store (barnes and nobles) or any ems store (galls) ect.
