Dear Members,

I am writing to see if any of your departments might be willing to donate used medical equipment. At our Volunteer rescue EMS department, we urgently need to convert our BLS ambulances to ALS ambulances. We need equipment that there is no budget for. To be more clear there is very little budget for gas, we run out around the 20th of each month. Several time puting in gas from our own pocket.

What we need the most are;

Defibrillator EKG 3 or 12 lead
Pulse Oximeter
Suction equipment
Airway intubation equipment
KED,S
BVM
OXIGEN TANKS WITH VALVE (PORTABLE)

Anything your department might be able to help with please contact me via PM or EMAIL.

Thank you,

Jose Perez

Hello Jose,

I do have a lifepak10c that I would be willing to send. Unfortunately I still need the charging station for our other Physio batteries.

With that I do have two or three BVM's and a laryngoscope (bulb style) and vatious blades that I am no longer using on car.

please send the particulars and I can have these items sent to you.

Really? No one around here ever uses them. We're required to have them, but I don't think it has ever been touched (other than inspections) You'd probably be fine w/ a LSB...

Jose I wish I could send you some equipment. I know here in NC we have a rotary club that collects money during the year and later purchases new equipment for the local EMS, Fire, and Police departments. Organizing something like this might be a good idea, some of the biggest contributors are the local business owners.

Thank you for your responses.

I hate to ask for more, but I also wanted to see if any of your departments might have decomissioned ambulances That might be willing to date them.

Our NORM only allows TYPE 3 ambulances that are no older than 1995. If anyone can help please send me a email.

Thank you,

Jose Perez
