Cabell County EMS is the primary EMS provider in Cabell County and the city of Huntington West Virginia. Our service covers approximately 286sq miles and serves a population of 95,000 citizens. The primary mission of Cabell County Emergency Medical Services is the preservation of life and limb through the delivery of fast and efficient pre-hospital care. Whether it is an illness or injury, the need for rescue and technical services, disasters man made or natural, Cabell County EMS will be there for you!

Applicant Requirements
Applicants are required to hold current West Virginia EMT-B or EMT-P level certification or have means to obtain such certification through reciprocity. (ie NREMT-P or NREMT-B certification). In addition, applicants are required to obtain or be currently certified as an NREMT-B. Applicants must have a valid drivers license. Applicants must be willing to subject to a criminal background check and must also pass substance abuse screening. Applicants must possess good verbal and written communication skills. Due to the dynamic nature of EMS, applicants should have a firm grasp on all level skills and protocols appropriate to his/her level of training.
