Valley Medical Transport is a division of Valley Regional Enterprises, which is a subsidiary of Valley Health, and is centrally dispatched from Winchester, VA with satellite sites serving a 60-70 mile radius. Clients serviced by our fleet of 22 ambulances and 8 wheelchair vans include hospitals, long-term care facilities, and individual patients. This position also provides administrative oversight to Mid-Maryland Medical Transport, LLC in Hagerstown, MD as an owner which operates 10 ambulances.

Corporate Director

Exceptional professional opportunity for an experienced manager to lead a thriving ALS and BLS ambulance and wheelchair van transportation business serving 18 counties in VA, WV, and MD. Selected individual will perform all administrative functions, including policy/program development, quality and performance improvement, staff supervision and training, financial planning, analysis and reporting and marketing and strategic planning.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree required (in business or in related field), Master's preferred.

  • Must demonstrate strong communication, organizational, and leadership skills.
  • Special knowledge, skills and abilities required: Demonstrate a clear understanding of core business structures, systems, practices, trends, and technologies within the healthcare industry.
  • This person must have entrepreneurial aptitude with the ability to create business plans for the service line and/or products that are capable of achieving measurable goals.
  • Must have a strong personal work ethic, be self motivated, provide effective goal oriented leadership abilities and results oriented management proficiencies.
  • Must be able to work effectively in a team, and achieve results collaboratively across the health system.
  • Must be adept at working within a highly matrixed organization.
  • Demonstrates effective leadership skills by using critical thinking and a system approach to ensure quality of services.
  • Must be credentialed or licensed in the clinical department that s/he is supervising.

Our compensation package is very competitive and includes relocation reimbursement. Compensation for this outstanding opportunity is negotiable and includes a $10,000 sign-on incentive.
