Elizabeth Township Area EMS is the official provider of emergency medical care and transportation to the residents and visitors of Elizabeth Township, Elizabeth Borough, and Liberty Borough. Elizabeth Township is located approximately 16 miles south of Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. As an advanced life support provider, we partner with Lincoln Borough VFC/EMS to assist their basic life support unit. Since our inception in 1993, we have seen a very significant increase in demand for our services. In our first year, we responded to 679 calls. In sharp contrast to this, we responded to almost 5,000 calls in 2006. Our dedicated staff of EMTs and Paramedics not only provides quality emergency care, but also provides non-emergency ambulance and wheelchair van transportation services. We provide 24 hour/day, 7 day/week, 365 day/year coverage.
