The Town of Bennington Rescue Squad, Inc. is a full service, 501(c)3 non-profit Emergency Medical Service providing Paramedic 911 services to the Towns of Bennington, Old Bennington, North Bennington, Woodford, South Shaftsbury and Shaftsbury. We are staffed by career and paid on-call EMTs and Paramedics. In addition to 911 services we also provide Paramedic Intercepts to other rescue squads and ambulance services in addition to emergency and non-emergency Advanced and Basic Life Support interfacility transports.
You can find us in the shadow of the Bennington Battle Monument at 120 McKinley Street, in Bennington Vermont 05201. We are one of the few squads in Vermont that are self supporting and do not reply on tax dollars from the towns we serve. We are primarily funded by donations, fees for service, and trusts left to us by generous patients and citizens.
