Motorola, Inc. has named Robert David Paulison, former FEMA administrator, to consult and support the company's Government and Enterprise Funding Programs as customers and partners seek funds from the Assistance to Firefighters Grant Act, also known as the AFG program.
Fireman's Fund Insurance Company and Holmatro, a manufacturer of extrication and rescue gear, announced a new, nationwide agreement to support local fire departments. As part of the arrangement, Holmatro will provide special pricing to Fireman's Fund for vehicle extrication gear awarded through its Fireman's Fund Heritage Program.

State Grant Resources
The purpose of the Volunteer Fire Assistance (VFA) Program, formerly known as the Rural Community Fire Protection (RCFP) Program, is to provide federal financial, technical, and other assistance to State Foresters to organize, train, and equip fire departments in rural areas and rural communities to prevent and suppress fires.
The purpose of the Ohio EMS grant program is to improve and enhance EMS patient care in the State of Ohio by providing grant funds to eligible applicants. There are four types of grants available from the Ohio Division of EMS.
Corporate Grant Resources
Fireman's Fund awards grants to fire departments of all sizes across the country. They focus on providing funds for needed equipment, firefighter training, and community programs.
Fire departments and brigades, as well as national, state, regional, local and community organizations can apply for funding to support a wide array of fire prevention, preparedness and control efforts.
