An Arizona paramedic was killed Jan. 8 in a crash.

Paramedic Mark Vernick, 33, was killed while enroute from one duty station to another, according to IAFF Local I-60 - United Emergency Medical Professionals of Arizona.

He worked for Southwest Ambulance in Pinal County.
