A New York EMT died while on a call on Jan. 3, 2010.

EMT Paul Bazinet, 52, was working for Empire Ambulance Service when he died, according to the National EMS Memorial Service.

He reportedly notified his partner that he wasn't feeling well and asked to be taken to a hospital. He went into cardiac arrest shortly thereafter.
