So thats it. Woody gets a slap on the wrist and this whole FUBAR incident gets swept under the rug...again...must be nice to have dirt on the county mayor.

Doing your job
Number one you should not have to have a I.C. officer tell his/her firefighters what has to be done on every job they do , they should know what has to done and do it !
Be Safe !

it is amazing that this incident was supposedly "resolved" with an "agree to work together" agreement. we are all on the same team. i try to help the FD at fires by helping pull line and such, even though i am "just" a paramedic. why cant we work together and achieve a common goal? disagree around the station but put the petty stuff aside at the scene. this is a very disappointing situation.

It is hard to judge from afar. Publicly, the county mayor did the right thing. Open dialog is always best in these matters. However, hopefully, behind the scenes, he told the fire chief he is on his last chance and that his personal actions in this case were deplorable.
