I hope this is a jury trial and is found in favor of the defendant. This clearly undermines the basic protection for people to aid in emergency settings. I can see this affecting other things. If the person can be held liable when helping in good faith, will they be brave enough to call 911 or fear if they call and dont help, they will be liable for the injuries being made worse?
