Cleveland Paramedic Charged With Assaulting Patient

CLEVELAND --
Cleveland police arrested an Emergency Medical Services paramedic accused of assaulting a patient.
Glenn F. Burks, 44, was charged Tuesday with gross sexual imposition.
Police Chief Michael McGrath said the incident allegedly took place in the back of an ambulance.
The Cleveland Police Intelligence Unit conducted a nearly week-long investigation into the allegations before making the arrest.
Burks, a 20-year veteran of the EMS, is on administrative leave pending the outcome of the investigation.
He was relieved from duty on Thursday.
Burks is scheduled to be in court Wednesdy morning.
