Immunity
This is exactly the kind of litigation that sets paramedics back decades as professionals. To argue that this paramedic should not be held to a professional standard of care is ridiculous. Sticking a tube in an esophagus happens to all of us and is just part of the job. Failure to recognize that error, no matter how challenging the circumstances, and correct the error is nothing short of negligence.
