my heart goes out to those who work for the ems service. i have been doing this for 30 yrs and i have lost friends myself my prays are with the friends and family of mr long. sorr about there lost.

I was an EMT in Southern VT. in the 80s and still think of it frequently. Please accept my sympathy to the family and to all the EMS personal.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family and co-workers. Too often, EMS gets put on the back burner to fire and police. EMS is a tough and thankless job and it takes a special person to hold an EMS position for that long. I sure he will be greatly missed.
